The total funding for the execution of four programs designed for unemployed individuals registered with the Employment Service (ZZZ) exceeds 1.5 million euros, aiming to create job opportunities for 770 of them.
The Board of Directors of the Employment Agency has decided to finance these four initiatives targeting registered unemployed individuals.
“The Training for Independent Work program allows unemployed individuals to gain their first work experience relevant to their qualifications. With an allocation of 203.1 thousand euros, it is projected that 100 unemployed individuals will secure employment within six months, thereby enhancing their employability and job prospects,” stated the agency.
The Employment Incentives Program aims to mitigate long-term unemployment by offering subsidized employment options.
“The total budget for this program is 323.63 thousand euros, with a goal of employing 70 individuals from priority groups for a duration of 12 months,” the agency added.
The Direct Job Creation Program – Public Work with Social Content is focused on providing temporary employment for especially vulnerable groups of unemployed individuals in roles that serve the public interest.
“This initiative has earmarked 500 thousand euros, with anticipation that at least 170 people will be employed in temporary positions that benefit the community,” noted the ZZZ.
The Adult Education and Training program, aimed at enhancing the job prospects of the unemployed by helping them acquire professional qualifications, key skills, or competencies, plans to involve 429 individuals, with the Employment Agency allocating 516.87 thousand euros for this initiative.
“The execution of this active employment policy program marks a significant step towards decreasing unemployment and reinforcing the labor market in Montenegro,” remarked the Employment Agency.
