City Television presenter Magdalena Čelanović has filed a report against Dr. Vladimir Peruničić from the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) for ongoing harassment, derogatory remarks, and sexist comments.
In her police statement, which “Vijesti” obtained, she revealed that the harassment began after a photo of her with Deputy Mayor of Podgorica, Nađa Ljiljanić, was shared on the official Instagram account of City RTV.
In response to the photo, the doctor posted an inappropriate comment that Čelanović removed before reaching out to the Ministry of Health.
The Health Ministry’s cabinet expressed their disapproval of such conduct, emphasizing that Minister Vojislav Šimun would forward the concern to the KCCG’s director.
However, KCCG did not respond for several days. After Čelanović sent a follow-up letter on April 23, 2025, the following evening, Dr. Peruničić began sending her unsettling emails and Instagram messages.
Čelanović reported that the doctor threatened her, claiming she should not be afraid and that he would track her down and harm her. He sent a barrage of insulting and sexist messages.
Expressing her fear for her safety, Čelanović described how the doctor took a photo within the Clinical Center and made derogatory remarks about City RTV, referring to it as a “septic tank of allergens.”
Despite receiving the initial complaint on April 8, the KCCG only replied to Čelanović the day before yesterday. They determined that the doctor’s actions occurred outside work hours and environment, stating that his private messages do not constitute a breach of workplace obligations.
