DPM Aleksić Takes Part in the 4th China-CEEC Expo in Ningbo
Deputy Prime Minister Budimir Aleksić opened the “China–CEEC Young Science and Technology Talents Exchange” Forum in Ningbo, a key event within the 4th China–CEEC Expo.
In his speech, DPM Aleksić highlighted the significance of such forums in fostering innovative ideas that unite people and promote a brighter future for everyone.
He stressed that platforms like this offer a dependable and sustainable avenue for developing future collaboration models among key stakeholders and reaffirming the necessity of partnerships between Central and Eastern European nations and China.
During the forum, and at the invitation of the Chinese side, DPM Aleksić engaged in discussions with a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China for Zhejiang Province, who also acts as Party Secretary of Ningbo, Deputy Mayor Xu Yan of Ningbo, and Yao Gupwen, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Department of Zhejiang Province. Branko Bulatović, the Ambassador of Montenegro to the People’s Republic of China, also participated in the meetings.
The conversations underscored the vast opportunities for collaboration between Montenegro and China, particularly in education, science, culture, and the economy. A specific focus was placed on partnerships between universities in Montenegro and China.
After the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić toured the permanent exhibition of Central and Eastern European nations, dedicating considerable time at the Montenegro pavilion, where he interacted with the displays.
