Complaints Filed Against Suspects for Unauthorized Construction on State Land in Danilovgrad

Charges have been brought against eleven individuals based on reasonable suspicion of committing ten offenses related to the illegal occupation of land and one offense concerning the removal and violation of an official seal and emblem.
The filings were submitted on April 25, under the direction of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, facilitated by officers from the Police Sector for Combating Crime – Department for Combating Corruption, Economic Crime, and Financial Investigations, in cooperation with the Urban and Construction Inspectors from the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property.
The individuals facing charges include: NF (37), NF (37), OM (25), VV (63), MB (51), DF (44), MM (35), JS (27), MJ (37), DV (35), and ND (31).
“They are reasonably suspected of having initiated and constructed residential buildings on state land in the areas of Grbe and Novo Selo, Danilovgrad Municipality, between 2024 and 2025, without proper consent and approval from the Government of Montenegro,” stated the Police Directorate.
