Authorities in the Serbian Ministry of the Interior have apprehended Ž.L. (55) for assaulting medical student Miloš Pavlović and two others in Pionirski Park, Belgrade, earlier today.

The police allege that he confronted Pavlović and the two young men around 12:45 PM, physically attacking them and using pepper spray.

Pavlović is the leader of an informal collective named “Students 2.0”, advocating for the normalization of academic instruction at universities. He and others were previously camping in the park between the Presidency and the Serbian Parliament during the large student protest in Belgrade.
