Based on Laković’s reasoning, Mandić would need to have personally fired the shot to justify his resignation.

Mr. Laković’s reasoning suggests that Mandić should have taken his own life to warrant a resignation, remarked Ivan Vujović, president of the SDP and a leader in the European Alliance, during his appearance on the Iks network.

Vujović emphasized, “The fact that a bodyguard was hired by BIL and that a parliamentary vehicle was used in the attempted murder is of no consequence.”

“What stands out is the interpretation of accountability,” he noted.

“Equally surprising is that Laković continues to defend Mandić,” Vujović added.
