The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has issued an order for the detention of SS for a duration of up to 72 hours. This is based on suspicions that he threatened his wife in front of a minor child.

He stands accused of committing an act of domestic or family violence.

“The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has decided to detain SS for a maximum of 72 hours after establishing reasonable suspicion of the criminal offense of domestic or family violence. This includes threatening his wife in the sight of a minor child, leading the victim to fear for her own safety and that of her children,” stated the Podgorica State Prosecutor’s Office.
