Marinko Rajković Receives Two Years and Eight Months in Prison; Brother Acquitted

Marinko Rajković, hailing from Kolašin, received a sentence of two years and eight months in prison for possessing cocaine and marijuana with intent to sell, as well as for illegal firearm possession. His brother, Zdenko Rajković, was found not guilty of the charges.
The sentencing took place today at the Bijelo Polje High Court.
The two residents of Kolašin were accused of possessing drugs for sale in their family home on November 24th of last year. Marinko asserted the drugs were for his personal use, while Zdenko denied any involvement with the substances.
According to the indictment, a search of Zdenko’s home by officers from the Security Department (OB) in Kolašin uncovered 558.81 grams of cannabis in PVC bags, which he attempted to carry out of the house. In Marinko’s residence, confiscated items included 0.713 grams of cannabis found under a pillow in the living room, 0.496 grams of cocaine, and six packages of cocaine weighing 0.306 g, 0.316 g, 0.326 g, 0.335 g, 0.313 g, and 0.306 g, stored in a plastic box labeled “Cedevita.” Additionally, a metal grinder used for crushing narcotic substances was also seized.
