The police in Herceg Novi apprehended MM (57) on charges of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotics, according to the Police Directorate (PD).

A search of his residence uncovered illicit drugs and cash believed to be proceeds from criminal activity, the statement added.

“Acting under a court order, officers from the Herceg Novi Security Department searched the residence of MM (57), a known offender in drug-related crimes. During the search, they discovered several PVC packages containing approximately 57 grams of a white powdery substance resembling cocaine, as well as one PVC package with a green plant material resembling marijuana, weighing around 28 grams. Additionally, they found a precision scale and cash amounting to €12,300, suspected to be acquired through criminal means,” stated the UP.

The security agency reported that the incident was communicated to the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, based on whose orders MM was arrested and charged with unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs.
