Marković and Dabović to Compete in Pristina Boxing Match
Montenegro will be represented by two athletes at the international youth boxing tournament “Ljah Nimani” in Pristina: Danilo Marković in the up to 65-kilogram category and Vuk Dabović in the up to 70-kilogram category.
Their coach, Milorad Purić from the Podgorica-based “Power Boxing” club, will accompany them to Pristina.
This seventeenth edition of the memorial tournament, honoring the legendary coach of the Yugoslav national boxing team, Ljah Nimani, will gather young boxers from various countries, serving as a significant platform for the growth of young talent in the region.
The two-day event at the “Palace of Youth and Sports” will host competitors from Albania, Bulgaria, Poland, North Macedonia, Ukraine, the host nation Kosovo, and Montenegro.
Danilo Marković and Vuk Dabović’s participation in Pristina will round out a busy weekend for Montenegrin national team athletes competing across Europe. Bojana Gojković and Tomislav Đinović, together with coach Nikola Ruzić, are currently at the prestigious senior tournament “Les Ceintures” in Paris, while five junior athletes and three coaches are competing at the “Heydar Aliyev” tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan.
