Chola Selected for EHF Week
Following the winter challenges in Munich, spring is set to arrive in Podgorica—Montenegrin handball players will convene on March 11 for the first time since the European Championship in January, as part of the EHF week.
During this EHF week, the “lions” will engage in two friendly matches against Georgia. Coach Vlado Šola has today revealed the roster for these encounters and the ensuing preparations.
The roster features players who were pivotal to the national team during the aforementioned Euro, although two defenders—Miloš Božović and Božo Anđelić—are notably absent.
The Croatian coach has also included two newcomers from Lovcen—defenders Filip Krivokapić and Milorad Bakić.
The matches against Georgia—a team that also participated in the previous European Championship—will serve as preparation for the crucial May playoffs against Belgium or Italy, aiming for a spot in the World Cup.
These games will take place in Podgorica on March 15 and 16.
