Wales Aware and Capable of Moving His Limbs
Jalen Wells, a player for the Memphis Grizzlies, is alert and has movement in his limbs following a severe fall during a game against Charlotte, which necessitated his being taken off the court on a stretcher.
The 21-year-old Wells sustained a broken right wrist during the incident, which occurred after a clumsy foul by KJ Simpson in a match that took place late on Tuesday night, as reported by renowned NBA insider, ESPN journalist Shams Charania.
The American guard is a rookie in the NBA, having been selected as the 39th pick in last year’s draft. In his debut season with the Grizzlies, he has averaged 10.4 points while starting in 74 games.
The Grizzlies currently rank fourth in the Western Conference with a record of 47 wins and 32 losses, tied with the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver, and Golden State.
Recently, Memphis parted ways with coach Taylor Jenkins, appointing former assistant coach Tuomas Isalo as the interim head coach.
