Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić extended his congratulations to Đuro Macut on his recent election as Prime Minister of Serbia, as well as to the members of the newly formed Government, expressing his “wishes for the successful execution of their important responsibilities.”
The message of congratulations highlights the “deep and fraternal ties” that bind Montenegro and Serbia, rooted in a shared history, culture, and language.
Mandić emphasized, “Our two nations have coexisted in a unified state for almost a century, and even today, we share many aspects that render us the closest in this region.”
He voiced his hope that Đuro Macut’s appointment as Prime Minister will enhance cooperation between Montenegro and Serbia “for the benefit of our citizens and in the spirit of brotherhood, friendship, trust, and mutual respect.”
In conclusion, President Mandić expressed wishes for the new Prime Minister of Serbia to have good health, perseverance, and wisdom in carrying out his responsibilities during these challenging times that require determination and commitment,” as per the announcement from the parliamentary head’s office.
