Serbia Has Had Enough: It’s Time to Stand Up Against Four Months of Terrorism
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that “Serbia is exhausted by those who have been terrorizing it for the past four months,” emphasizing the need to avert violence while standing firm against those who “harm and undermine” the nation.
“Things are heating up in Serbia, quite literally, yet it goes unnoticed. Serbia has had enough of those who have been terrorizing it for four months. We must take every measure to prevent violence and confront those who are damaging and destabilizing our country,” Vučić expressed in a video address on Instagram.
He added that he plans to “soon” urge citizens to demonstrate peacefully and with dignity, asserting their desire for a “free Serbia.”
“Rest assured, there will be no lack of bravery or resolve, whether there are 1,000 or 2,000 of us. No one can hinder that spirit of resistance and freedom from flourishing and developing. Ultimately, Serbia will prevail. Expect an invitation shortly,” Vučić remarked.
The Serbian President noted that “every baker, hairdresser, and restaurateur is feeling the strain from the issues that have arisen over the last four months.”
“People are struggling to make ends meet for the first time in a decade, as they increasingly recognize how to secure a brighter future for themselves and their children,” Vučić commented.
Last night, students staged a blockade at the GSP depot in New Belgrade, resulting in a suspension of public transport in the city this morning.
