Podgorica hosted the Montenegrin Junior Judo Championship last week, where the “Miloš Stanković” club from Zeta made a significant mark.

The club had six participants and brought home an impressive haul of medals: four golds, one silver, and one bronze.

“In the 60 kg category, two of our athletes faced each other in the finals—Pavle Popović and Nemanja Vukčević. Pavle took gold, while Nemanja secured silver. In addition to Pavle, gold medals were earned by Mihailo Senić in the 73 kg class, Stevan Sadiku in the 81 kg class, and Savo Ljiljanić in the 100 kg class,” said Goran Dobrović, coach of the “Miloš Stanković” wrestling club.

He also noted that Luka Mitrović finished third in the 81 kg category.

“Out of seven male categories, we excelled in four, and we have every reason to take pride in our accomplishments,” emphasized Dobrović.
