The leader of the Democratic People’s Party (DNP) and Member of Parliament in Montenegro, Milan Knežević, remarked that the leader of the For the Future of Nikšić list, Marko Kovačević, “received more votes than Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump combined.”

He also had a message for the Democratic Party of Socialists.

“Just keep it up, don’t splinter, take Duško Marković along. If anyone needs to go turn off your lights, I’ll do it because they’re nearly out,” Knežević stated emphatically.

He noted their remarkable success in Župa, telling “the man from Župa who claimed that the pipuni aren’t thriving there that he’ll bring him seeds tomorrow to start planting immediately.”
