Exciting news for Montenegrin karate has emerged from Armenia, where the European Championship is currently taking place.

During the Executive Committee meeting of the Mediterranean Karate Federation, Veljko Brnović, Secretary of the Serbian Karate Federation, was elected Secretary General of the Mediterranean Karate Federation.

Additionally, Brnović has been given the responsibility of organizing the Mediterranean Championship, scheduled for September 12th to 14th in Toledo, in collaboration with the Karate Federation of Spain.

The Karate Federation of Montenegro commented, “This is a clear indication that the quality of work and organization by KSCG is recognized and valued by major karate organizations.”

Our karate practitioners are actively competing for medals, and their achievements have been further enhanced by the presence of judges—marking a first for three of our referees at the European Championships. They are Toko Raičević, Miodrag Radunović, and Milica Bura.

On the opening day in Yerevan, the 2028 Senior European Championship was assigned to KSCG President Predrag Perković.
