Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) journalist Sasa Dragojlo reported being assaulted today near the Đeram Market in Belgrade by a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), stating that the police did not take any action in response.
“Just 15 minutes ago, while filming a confrontation between citizens protesting at the SNS stand, I was attacked by an SNS activist. The police are refusing to identify or detain him,” Dragojlo shared on the social network X.
Earlier reports indicated that SNS activists had established party booths at the junction of Veljko Dugoševića and Zvezdarskih jelki streets in the Belgrade municipality of Zvezdara, returning to the location where they had previously left due to public backlash.
