Valter Tavares Shines as Euroleague Regular Season Concludes

Real Madrid’s basketball player Valter Tavares has been named the EuroLeague’s Most Valuable Player for March and April, as announced by the competition.

Throughout this timeframe, Real Madrid competed in seven EuroLeague matches, achieving six victories and one defeat. They will now face Paris in the playoffs; the winner will progress, while the loser will have an additional opportunity against the winner of the Bayern Munich and Red Star Belgrade match.

Tavares recorded an impressive average of 16.7 points over the seven games in March and April, boasting a two-point shooting percentage of 77.4%.

In addition, he averaged 7.1 rebounds per game, and his overall performance yielded an average index of 21.3.

During this period, Real Madrid outperformed teams like Virtus, Asvel, Olimpia Milan, Red Star, Paris, and Partizan. Their sole defeat came against Panathinaikos.
