Jevtić Reveals Roster of Volleyball Players for Golden League Preparations
Ivica Jevtić, the head coach of the Montenegrin men’s volleyball team, has revealed the roster of players for their training ahead of the CEV Golden European League.
The Montenegrin volleyball squad will participate in the esteemed European League, competing in tournaments across Romania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. From May 17th, 19 players will come together for preparations at the “Voco” hotel in Podgorica.
Coaches: Rastko Milenković (Budva), Marko Joksimović (Al Sadd, Qatar), Danilo Dubak (Budućnost Volley).
Outside Hitters: Ivan Zvicer (Budućnost Volley), Nemanja Peruničić (Usti, Czech Republic), Vasilije Milenković (Budva), Benjamin Hadžisalihović (Nefči Baku, Azerbaijan), Milan Rovčanin (Jedinstvo), Vukašin Cimbaljević (Ribola Kaštela, Croatia).
Opposites: Djordje Jovovic (Mladost, Croatia), Milutin Pavićević (Karadjordjed, Serbia).
Middle Blockers: Luka Babić (Budva), Nikola Đurović (Mladost, Croatia), Matija Ćinćur (Alpacem Kanal, Slovenia), Srđan Petrović (Marsonija, Croatia).
Libero: Andrija Joksimović (Qatar Sport, Qatar), Stefan Radević (Mornar).
The professional staff supporting Coach Ivica Jevtić includes assistant coaches: Stefan Laković, Miljan Bošković, and Dejan Radić, along with fitness coach Mirko Eraković, statistician Luka Ratković, and physiotherapist Vladimir Dragojević.
Montenegro’s volleyball team will kick off their Golden League campaign in Romania on June 6 and 7, facing both the host country and the Latvian national team. The second tournament will take place in Podgorica from June 13 to 15, where they will face the Czech Republic on June 13 and Finland on June 15. The team will then have a crucial tournament in North Macedonia, where they will compete against Israel on June 21 and the North Macedonian national team the following day, to secure a spot in the final tournament.
The CEV Golden League final tournament is set for July 4th to 6th in Brno, Czech Republic.
