“Goal Scored in the Derby: Petrovac”

Ažurirano: 06.04.2025. 21:23h

Excitement filled the air during the derby as Petrovac and Budućnost ended in a thrilling 3:3 draw!

The Podgorica squad sustained their 14-point advantage over the second-placed team, missing their chance to defeat their closest competitor for the third time this season.

Despite leading twice, Ivan Brnović’s squad managed to avoid defeat, with Andrej Kostić scoring a last-minute equalizer in the 90th minute.

Remarkably, both Petrovac and Budućnost continued their unbeaten streak this spring.

The visiting team took the lead in the 35th minute, with Marko Milicković, a winter signing, scoring from about 20 meters out—his fifth goal this spring—with Igor Ivanović setting up the shot.

Petrovac leveled the score right after halftime. Goalkeeper Milan Mijatović initially blocked a shot from Žarko Popović, but former Budućnost player Zoran Petrović capitalized on the rebound, making it 1:1.

Tempers flared on the pitch, and Budućnost regained the upper hand in the 55th minute. Petar Grbić made a run down the left and shot; goalkeeper Marko Kordić mishandled the ball, which Ivan Bulatović nudged into the net.

However, it was Adnanj Bašić’s brilliance that turned the game around for the hosts.

Bašić scored two goals within five minutes, in the 76th and 81st minutes, putting his team on the brink of victory.

He first found the net from an assist by captain Dejan Boljević, followed by an impressive pass from Aleksa Golubović, allowing him to slot the ball past Mijatović for a 3:2 lead.

As Budućnost faced potential defeat for the third time this season, substitute Andrej Kostić managed to head in an equalizer in the dying moments of the match.

Sutjeska secured a narrow 1:0 victory over Dečić AdmiralBet in their derby clash, moving into third place with the sole goal from Kopitović in the 60th minute.

Dečić had a strong start; they threatened the goal in the sixth minute, and Božanović couldn’t convert from a corner kick. In the 17th minute, Božović nicely set up Striković, but Vukčević made an excellent save.

A crucial turning point came in the 32nd minute when Dečić’s goalkeeper Nikić was shown a red card for a foul outside the penalty area, shifting momentum to Sutjeska.

In the second half, Tošković squandered a good chance after Desančić’s pass, but the decisive goal came in the 60th minute. Tošković’s free kick was saved by Radošević, but after recovering, Dečić’s goalkeeper also failed to stop Pajović, leaving Kopitović to score easily.

Otrant-Olimpik claimed an important 6:2 victory over Mornar at the FSCG Training Camp.

The match kicked off with opportunities for Muharemović, and soon after, Škrijelj, working with Sekulić, put Barani in the lead.

In the second half, Otrant seized control, with Vukčević shining by scoring a hat-trick in just 11 minutes: his goals came in the 57th, 65th, and 68th minutes, with his second being particularly impressive, as a cross turned into a goal off Pavličić’s mistake.

After Mornar halved the score to 3:2 through Batrović, Filipović and Rudović both added two more goals for Otrant.

Arsenal achieved a slim 1:0 win over Jedinstvo-Franca in Bijelo Polje, with Abdullahi netting the only goal in the 32nd minute.

Following this defeat, Jedinstvo remained in the playoff zone, trailing Arsenal by five points.

The match between Jezera and Bokelj SBBet has been postponed due to snow covering the pitch in Berane. It will now take place on April 16th.
