Dr. Dragan Milić, the founder of the Niš Citizens’ Group and the “Movement for the Decentralization of Serbia,” has stated that it is highly likely a bullet from a small-caliber “.22 long rifle” caused the damage to his bedroom window.

In a Facebook post, Milić shared an image sent by Ivan Bjelić from the “March from the Drina” organization, depicting a similar bullet hole in a window of an apartment in Požega, noting the striking resemblance.

Milić remarked, “There is a high probability that both holes were made by a small-caliber ‘.22 long rifle.’ This raises the question of whether there is one shooter or a group using the same weapon to intimidate political dissenters and opponents throughout Serbia.”

He mentioned that Bjelić’s apartment in Požega had been targeted during a protest against lithium mining in Serbia, with the perpetrators remaining unidentified.

“It is increasingly apparent that this isn’t just random gunfire from a drunken shooter, but orchestrated actions sending political messages and threats,” Milić emphasized.

On Sunday evening, he reported to law enforcement that someone had fired into his bedroom window from the house opposite, labeling it an attempted murder.

The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Niš announced that “there is a probability” that the damage to Dr. Dragan Milić’s window resulted from a projectile’s impact—a bullet.

The Niš Police Department stated that during their investigation, they found two damages to the window of a shop below Milić’s bedroom, although the shop owner noted he had seen them since January but chose to repair them without reporting to the police.
