Top 5 Players: Jadran’s Showdown with Belgrade Clubs

Belgrade starts today, followed by Split in mid-April, as the Premier regional water polo league enters its decisive stage. The opening matches for placements from 1st to 5th place will take place in Serbia’s capital from today through Friday.
The Montenegrin champion, Jadran, is also among the Top 5 clubs. They are slated to play two matches in the first tournament: today’s (Wednesday) game at 18:30 against Novi Belgrade, one of Europe’s top teams, followed by a match tomorrow against Crvena Zvezda.
Coach Petra Radanović’s team begins in the fourth position with two points.
The Premier League finals feature three competitive groups, determined by results from the season’s first half. Matches will not only decide placements for the Top 5 but also for 6th to 8th and 9th to 12th places.
Additionally, the regional A1 league tournament will be conducted for placements from 11th to 13th, with Budva set to contest Taš this Friday at 19:00.
The third Montenegrin team, Primorac from Kotor, has already secured its return to the Premier League by winning the A1 League.
