Despite being the most seasoned player and one of the top performers on the team, Nikola Vučević and Chicago are set to miss the NBA playoffs for the third consecutive year.

Once again, Miami emerged as the obstacle, demonstrating their prowess in such crucial matches. The Florida team triumphed over the Bulls 109:90 at the “United Center,” securing a matchup against Atlanta for a playoff spot.

Vučević averaged a double-double throughout the season, reaching double figures in both points and rebounds during the playoffs. He concluded the game against Miami with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Josh Giddy shone with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Kobe White added 17 points despite shooting just 20-5.

“We failed to adhere to our strategy – we had beaten them during the regular season. We assumed our usual play would suffice, but they have players with finals experience and a top-tier coach. They outmatched us,” White stated.

Tyler Hiro once again proved to be the standout player, scoring 38 points and leading Miami to victory, with Andrew Wiggins contributing 20 points. Despite issues with Jimmy Butler’s exit, the Florida team celebrated yet another playoff win.

“We are only halfway through, as we didn’t clinch automatic qualification by winning a single game. The players are thrilled with this victory and invested a lot into it. This is the result of weeks of hard work,” emphasized Erik Spoelstra, the legendary coach of Miami.

The playoff race continues in Dallas, where the Mavs outperformed Sacramento 120:106 in their opening playoff game, now facing Memphis as the final barrier before a showdown with Oklahoma.

Anthony Davis scored 27 points, and Klay Thompson added 23 for the Texas team, while DeMar DeRozan’s 33 points couldn’t save Sacramento.

There are two remaining play-in games to complete before the playoffs: Atlanta vs. Miami and Memphis vs. Dallas.
