Jadran Falls to Novi Belgrade

In tonight’s match of the Top Five phase of the Regional League, the Jadran water polo team faced a defeat in Belgrade against Novi Belgrade, ending the game with a score of 15:13.

Tomorrow at 18:30, the Novljani will compete against Crvena zvezda.

During the second quarter, Jadran fell behind by three goals (6:3), but they managed to close the gap to 7:6 by halftime. Later, after two goals from Vasilija Radović, Petar Radanović’s team took the lead with a score of 9:8.

Jadran maintained a one-goal advantage on two occasions in the third quarter (10:9 and 11:10); however, the Belgrade team rallied in the final period to secure the victory.

The standout performer for Jadran was Nagaev, who scored four goals, while Ortega and Jakšić each netted three goals for their side.
