The Jadran water polo team triumphed over Primorac in a thrilling derby match of the Montenegrin championship, securing the advantage of playing at home in the finals.
In a closely contested match, Novljan overcame their main rival, Škver, with a score of 10:9, thanks to Vasilije Radović who clinched the victory with just 10 seconds remaining during a power play.
Earlier in the game, Nikola Brkić was sent off, leading to an impressive offensive display from the home team following a time-out called by Petr Radanović, which saw Radović pass to Aleksandar Kralj positioned near the post.
The match was an exhilarating and balanced Bokele derby.
As the last quarter began, Jadran was ahead 7:5 and extended their lead to 8:6, but the Kotorans kept fighting back.
With just 9 seconds on the clock, Nemanja Vico equalized the score at 9:9, but Jadran quickly regained control, demonstrating their ability to outplay Primorac once again.
In the winning team, Danilo Radović was the standout performer with three goals, while Vasilije Radović, Jovan Vujović, and Ivan Nagaev each contributed two goals.
For Primorac, the scorers included Srđan Janović, Brkić, and Marko Gopčević, who each found the net twice.
