The Herceg Novi water polo team, Jadran, has clinched the title of champion in Montenegro’s junior competition for players born in 2008 and later.

In an exciting final, Jadran triumphed over Budva with a score of 15:11 (4:1, 3:4, 5:3, and 3:3).

Earlier in the competition, Jadran had also bested Budva in their group match, winning 14:7 (3:2, 3:2, 3:1, and 5:2).

During the group stage, Jadran secured victories against Budućnost, finishing 12:10 (4:4, 3:2, 3:0, and 2:4), and Primorka, with a score of 13:10 (2:2, 2:3, 6:4, and 3:1).

Budva ended up in second place in the group, having defeated Primorje 12:11 (5:2, 1:6, 4:2, and 2:1) and Budućnost 11:8 (4:3, 3:2, 1:3, and 3:0).

In the match for third place, Primorac edged out Budućnost 8:7 (4:1, 1:4, 2:2, and 1:0), avenging their earlier group stage defeat of 14:7 (6:2, 3:2, 2:1, and 3:2) against the Podgorica team.

The championship cup was presented to the Jadran players by coach Vladimir Gojković.
