It’s noted that around 15:20 on Tuesday, three masked men ambushed Pëtr Lipovina and Žarko Pejaković, using the Cetinjska registration label, firing at them and killing them instantly.
The assailants fled in a gray car to Mareze, where they set the vehicle on fire. They then switched to a black car and escaped. Some sources within security circles suggest that the individuals were known to authorities, as they were identified by the vehicle they used and were reportedly local residents.
It has been alleged that the car was sold, revealing the name of the new owner, who is recognized by police as a person of interest, reports state.
The victims sustained 30 bullet wounds.
The prosecutor of the Senior State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, Ana Kalezić, stated yesterday that, according to the latest information, the perpetrators utilized automatic weapons.
“There are over 30 shell casings at the scene. The identities of the criminals involved in this incident have yet to be established, and we currently cannot comment further on this matter,” Kalezić remarked.
