Last year, "Jugopetrol" reported a net profit of seven million euros, matching its earnings from 2023.

The company recorded total revenues of 255 million euros, slightly up by three million euros compared to the previous year. Operating costs amounted to 243 million euros, an increase of nearly three million euros.

In terms of personnel expenses, Jugopetrol incurred costs of 3.6 million euros last year, reflecting an increase of approximately 300 thousand euros.

By the end of last year, the company’s retained earnings stood at 26.8 million euros, representing a rise of about 1.2 million euros from the end of 2023.

On Friday, the company released a management report for 2024, highlighting two significant lawsuits against the state-owned "Montenegro Bonus," totaling 17.6 million euros. Jugopetrol does not anticipate losing these cases, nor do they see grounds for "Montenegro Bonus" to prevail.

The first lawsuit is for 11 million euros due to restrictions on "Montenegro Bonus" using storage and petroleum facilities in Bar since the 2004 privatization. The second lawsuit, valued at 7.6 million euros, claims lost profits that "Montenegro Bonus" could have earned if it had leased its storage to another entity.

These storage facilities and petroleum assets were not included in the privatization contract and remained with the state, which “Montenegro Bonus” was supposed to take over. In a 2016 ruling, the state-owned company won a previous dispute that established Jugopetrol's lack of rights to these facilities, yet they have not yet been able to assume control.

The management report, detailing the company's assets, includes these warehouses and facilities.

The Office of the Protector of Property and Legal Interests of the State is also involved in resolving this matter, with the state's intention being to utilize these warehouses as part of future national oil reserves.

Additionally, the report mentions ongoing legal actions between Jugopetrol and the Tax Administration, with the latter demanding payment of 1.4 million euros for unpaid excise duties and VAT on fuel sales. Conversely, Jugopetrol is suing the Tax Administration for the non-refunded pre-paid VAT of 461 thousand euros.

The Greek "Hellenik" group holds 54.4 percent of Jugopetrol’s shares, while Montenegrin citizens and minor shareholders possess 45.6 percent.

"Zetatrans" reports a profit of 1.28 million

"Zetatrans" achieved a net profit of 1.28 million euros last year, approximately 50 thousand euros lower than the previous year.

The company’s total operating income reached eight million euros, marking an increase of around 720 thousand euros compared to 2023.

Operational expenses amounted to five million euros, which is roughly 400 thousand euros more than last year.

Salaries and other personnel costs totaled 1.73 million euros, about one hundred thousand euros higher than the prior year.

By the end of last year, "Zetatrans" reported an undistributed profit of 3.5 million euros, about 1.3 million euros higher than at the end of 2023.

Slovenian "Intereuropa" controls 69 percent of the shares, while Slovenian Post owns another 10 percent and the remaining 20 percent is held by Montenegrin citizens and other small shareholders.
