Police in Podgorica have confiscated a firearm from BG (54), a security guard for a local company. He was stopped by traffic officers in the town of Lužnica while driving.
“Upon inspecting a Peugeot passenger vehicle with Podgorica registration plates, police discovered and seized a Glock 17 pistol along with a magazine containing 10 rounds of ammunition. BG failed to present a valid license to operate under the legal entity during the criminal investigation,” the Police Directorate reported.
Following the completion of the investigation, and upon the directive of the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, BG now faces criminal charges for the alleged offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
