Final Match of Primorje vs. Jadran Set for Wednesday
Tomorrow in Kotor, water polo teams Primorje and Jadran will compete in the second match of the Montenegrin championship finals.
Primorac claimed victory in the first match held in Herceg Novi, with a score of 9:6.
The finals consist of a best-of-three format.
The match in Kotor is set to begin at 18:00.
Jadran is vying for its tenth consecutive title, which would be the 13th overall championship title in Montenegro.
The team has won the last nine titles (2014 to 2023), in addition to victories in 2009, 2010, and 2012.
Jadran was also the champion during the former FNRJ (1958 and 1959) and in Serbia and Montenegro (2003, 2004, and 2006).
Primorac is eager for a title, having last won in 2008.
The club was the champion just the year before.
It also secured the championship title of former Yugoslavia in the 1985/86 season and won the European championship in 2009.
