Miloš Medenica, the son of former Supreme Court President Vesna Medenica, was transferred from Remand Prison to the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office this morning for questioning regarding alleged threats made toward Bojan Popović during a Higher Court session.
Special state prosecutors allege that Medenica established a criminal organization, which includes Popović as a member, and that he threatened Popović while the latter was presenting his defense.

On 18.03.2025 at 08:30 a.m., a main trial was conducted at the High Court in Podgorica concerning case code Ks.br. 15/20. The hearings were presided over by Judge Vesna Kovačević, along with judges Simo Bulatović and Boris Bulatović. Both Miloš Medenica and Bojan Popović were among the accused in this proceeding. During Popović’s defense presentation, Medenica allegedly stated, ‘… you will cry again…’, which was documented by the trial court panel. This statement led Popović to feel fearful for his safety and for the safety of his close relatives, as noted in the application submitted by his attorney, Damir Lekić, the following day.

A hearing for Popović with prosecutor Ivan Bojanić was also scheduled for today.
However, Popović’s representative has requested to postpone his hearing to a later date.
