The season is approaching its conclusion across Europe and the region. Many of our international players are making significant contributions to their teams.

Bojan Strugar had two outstanding performances in the Romanian league, bringing his team Craiova within one victory of securing third place. In the first match of the consolation final against Zalau, Strugar earned 3 points with a score of 2:15, and just a day later, he scored an impressive 24 points in a four-set triumph. The third match will be hosted by Zalau on Saturday.

In the Croatian league, Mladost is on the brink of reaching the final, having won the first semi-final match against Centrometal 3:0. Our player Đorđe Jovović contributed 12 points, while young middle blocker Nikola Đurović did not score. The second semi-final match is set for tomorrow, where Ribola Kaštela will face Mursa, after a 3:0 defeat at home, despite Vukašin Cimbaljević scoring 10 points in that match.

Centrometal eliminated Marsonia in the quarter-finals, where our middle blocker Srđan Petrović played. Centrometal won the rematch as the home team 3:0, followed by a golden set victory of 15:11. In the first game, Marsonia had won 3:1, with Petrović scoring 7 points in the rematch.

The Serbian Super League quarter-final playoffs were intense. Sadly, after three matches, Karađorđe, led by our player Milutin Pavićević, concluded their season following a 3:2 loss to Dubočica in the third playoff match, where Pavićević scored nine points.

Both Red Star and Partizan showcased thrilling matches, with particular excitement in the one won by our men’s national team coach Ivica Jevtić. The Red Star team triumphed 3:2 at Banjica and advanced to the semi-finals, where they took an early lead in the series against Vojvodina with a 3:1 victory. The second semi-final pairing consists of Radnički and Dubočica, with Kragujevac winning the first match 3:0.

Matija Ćinćur and Alpacem Kanal are vying for a spot in the Slovenian championship final. They won the first semi-final against Kalcit with a score of 3:2, thanks to Ćinćur’s seven points, while he scored one less in their 3:0 away defeat. The decisive semi-final match is scheduled for tomorrow.

The leading teams in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League, Domaljevac and Napredak, have reached the finals. Both secured their semi-final series with 2:0 victories, with Domaljevac defeating Modrica 3:0, where Jovan Delić contributed eight points.

Blažo Milić and Nemanja Peruničić are on the brink of survival in the Czech Republic’s top volleyball league, after Usti won their first two playoff matches against Dobričovic, both ending with a score of 3:0. In the first match, Peruničić scored 12 points, while Milić did not play. In the second match, Peruničić also remained on the bench, and Milić scored four points.

Montenegrin coach Marko Joksimović, playing for Al Sadd, celebrated a significant victory alongside his teammates in the Amir Cup qualifying match, defeating Al Kor 3:0.

In the Qatar Cup, coach Darko Prebiracevic’s team, Qatar Sports, is set to play against Al Rayyan in the semi-finals, a favored team to win the cup. They achieved this after a five-set victory at home, following an opening match defeat of 3:1.
