"Our primary focus is to retain young people in Nikšić. To achieve this, we must establish conditions that allow them to work and earn salaries sufficient for a fulfilling life that aligns with the needs of 21st-century youth. Those who have jeopardized the future of Nikšić's youth will face repercussions at the polls," stated Zoran Mrkić, leader of the "Zdrav Nikšić - Europe Now!" list.

In addressing the youth of Nikšić, he highlighted the previous authorities' role in the economic exodus of young residents, emphasizing that these elections represent a pivotal opportunity for change, as declared by the Europe Now Movement.

"I wanted to hear directly from the youth, our future, their ideas, suggestions, and criticisms. This way, following our electoral victory, we can collaboratively create conditions that encourage them to stay, live, work, and start families in Nikšić," Mrkić remarked.

He urged the youth to engage in politics and to advocate for their city and future through institutional avenues.

"It’s crucial for young people to be present in decision-making spaces. Their involvement in all facets of social life, particularly in political processes, is vital for fostering a development-friendly environment," Mrkić emphasized.

Ivan Pejović, a senior at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro from Nikšić, expressed gratitude to Mrkić for facilitating an open dialogue on the challenges facing young individuals.

"Young people require security, quality education, and opportunities to gain experience that will enhance their attractiveness in the job market. Until now, opportunities have been limited in Nikšić. We view these elections as a crucial chance to effect change," Pejović concluded.
