Barcelona executed their game plan effectively, triumphing over Girona with a score of 4:1 in the 29th round of La Liga.
The “Blaugrana” created 11 opportunities, while Girona managed just one, but by the 53rd minute, the score was tied at 1:1.
A defensive error from Krejci, who deflected a cross from Lamin Jamal into his own net after being struck on the hand during a free kick in the 43rd minute, was countered by Danjuma’s goal with an assist from Blind.
After that, the “Blaugrana” took complete control, with Robert Lewandowski scoring his 24th and 25th goals in La Liga this season. His first came in the 61st minute, followed by the second in the 77th minute, marking his 38th goal across all competitions for the 2024-2025 season.
The final goal was added by Ferran Torres in the 86th minute.
Barça leads the league table with 66 points, three ahead of Real Madrid and nine clear of Atletico. Girona sits at 24 points, seven above the relegation zone.
