Arnautović and Fratezi Propel Champions to a Six-Point Lead

After seventy minutes of solid control, Inter faced a moment of anxiety—but fortunately, they were not punished for their missteps against Udinese, ultimately securing a 2:1 victory. This win renews the pressure on Napoli in the Scudetto race.

With one match in hand, the Nerazzurri now hold a six-point lead over the Neapolitans, who are set to face Milan tonight at 20:45.

Simone Inzaghi’s squad created four opportunities in the first half, converting two into goals thanks to Marko Arnautović and Davide Fratezi. They maintained their control in the second half while pursuing a third goal, but the “zebras” displayed their own threat when given the chance.

Omar Soule posed a significant challenge to Jan Zomer around the twenty-minute mark, and shortly after, he had a prime opportunity when his shot from inside the box was expertly saved by the seasoned Swiss goalkeeper.

In the closing minutes, Udinese had several dangerous attacks that put Inter on edge, but the Nerazzurri held firm, taking another important step toward defending their title.
