A family residence in Pavino Polje, near Bijelo Polje, was engulfed in flames this morning, resulting in minor injuries to the homeowner. According to Edin Kolić, the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service in Bijelo Polje, the emergency call was received shortly after midnight.

“Ten firefighters, equipped with three specialized units and one technical vehicle, responded promptly. The quick intervention was crucial in preventing the fire from spreading further. The cause remains unknown, and the police are currently investigating the scene,” Kolić stated.

The damages are considerable, and the homeowner, Slobodan L., suffered minor burns in the incident.

“He is receiving treatment in the emergency room. Teams from the Protection Service are still on-site due to the building’s older structure,” he emphasized for TVCG.
