Prime Minister Milojko Spajić took to social media to discuss Italy and the United Arab Emirates signing a significant $40 billion agreement.
The Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector (MANS) responded to Spajić’s comments, questioning whether they were the result of superficiality or intentional manipulation.
Spajić shared a report from a Serbian media outlet, revealing that the contract between Italy and the UAE was signed on February 24 of this year.
“While here we are ‘worrying’ about the EU’s stance on investments from the UAE, in the meantime in Italy…” Spajić posted on X.
MANS elaborated on the X network, stating that the agreement between Italy and the UAE pertains to investments in sectors such as energy, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and defense, rather than the allocation of state land without a tender.
