Kordić underscored the significance of tourism as a vital economic sector for our country and the essential promotion of Montenegro as a distinctive tourist destination in the UK market, particularly with an emphasis on sustainable tourism development and the preservation of natural resources.
She noted the importance of boosting the number of British tourists visiting Montenegro, particularly through improved connectivity between the two nations.
Extending her congratulations on Kordić’s new role, McKen expressed her contentment with the marked increase in British tourists who have traveled to Montenegro recently.
She specifically highlighted the rise in direct flights between the two countries, which has made Montenegro more accessible to British travelers.
McKen also emphasized the necessity for further enhancements in providing information regarding Montenegro’s tourist attractions and offerings to UK tourists, particularly focusing on the northern region of the country.
