The Tivat police have confiscated an armored Volkswagen Passat that was being driven by suspected member of the Skalja crime syndicate, Radovan Stanišić (26).
As reported by “Vijesti”, Stanišić had borrowed this car shortly after his release from the pre-trial detention center in June 2024.
He was released from custody due to the absence of a first-instance verdict.
The Police Directorate has officially stated that RS is affiliated with an organized crime group and that the vehicle’s registration had lapsed.
“It is suspected that RS borrowed the vehicle from ZM, who is also linked to organized crime, with the intent of a test drive before a potential purchase,” according to police statements.
Information from “Vijesti” indicates that ZM refers to Zoran Mrvaljević.
Stanišić has been prohibited from leaving Tivat and is required to check in with local Security Department officials.
“A request has been submitted to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against RS for breaching the Road Traffic Safety Law,” the announcement stated.
