Police in Podgorica have apprehended SV, who is suspected of murdering Gorica Medojevic in the city.
His arrest occurred shortly after midnight last night on Radosav Burić Street, as reported by the police board in a statement issued by Avaz.
He will be held for a legal duration by the acting prosecutor at the Department of State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica for further proceedings.
The Police Directorate has indicated that they are actively working to locate and apprehend a second individual identified as NV (44), who is also a suspect in this case.
Thirty-year-old Gorica Medojevic was killed on November 19, shortly after midnight, with multiple gunshots in the Monastery Street area of Zabeljo, Podgorica.
The NV suspect has been noted for previous criminal behavior related to drug offenses, illegal possession of weapons, threats to public safety, as well as acts of violence and sexual assault.
The second suspect, known as St., is also recognized by law enforcement as involved in violent criminal activities.
The deceased, Gorica Medojevic, had a criminal history associated with drug abuse.
