In a recent statement, Jonuc Popa, the president of Dinamo Bucharest, expressed confidence by saying, “If we receive a wild card from the EHF for the Champions League next season, we will be part of the final four.”

Popa’s optimism stems from the solid reinforcements set to join the Romanian club for the upcoming season, including Montenegrin handball player Branko Vujović, who officially signed with Dinamo today.

The right back of the “lions” has inked a contract with the new club until 2027, fulfilling the wishes of the esteemed coach Xavi Pascual, who recruited him from Hanover in the Bundesliga.

“Branko will be instrumental in helping us achieve our objectives in the upcoming seasons,” noted David Barufet, Dinamo’s sports director.

The legendary Spanish goalkeeper detailed, “His arrival will bolster the right back position and will signify progress for the team — with him, we will enhance our quality, as he is a talented player with vast experience,” Barufet stated to “Pro sport”.

Prior to Vujović’s signing, the Bucharest club had already secured Hanijel Langar from Barcelona for the next season, while Luka Cindrić, Ali Zaein, and Vladimir Cupara are already part of the Dinamo squad…
