Sharks in Los Angeles Seek Momentum Ahead of Paris

Departing from Tivat, with a stop in Istanbul, the Montenegrin water polo team is en route to Los Angeles this evening to further their training for the Olympic Games.
The Water Polo and Swimming Association has announced that the “Sharks” will face the United States in two exhibition matches in the “City of Angels”.
The first game against the hosts is set to take place between June 12 and 13 at four o’clock our time, with the second match scheduled for June 14 and 15 at three o’clock.
Coach Vladimir Gojković has selected 18 players for this training camp, including Dejan Lazović, Konstantin Averka, Aljoša Mačić, Vlad Popadić, Stefan Vidović, Đur Radović, Vladan Spaić, Dušan Matković, Vasilij Radović, Petr Tešanović, Marko Mršić, Jovan Vujović, Darko Đurović, Bogdan Đurđić, Martin Gardašević, Danil Radović, Andrija Korać, and Dimitrija Obradović.
The VPSCG has noted that Miroslav Perković and Dušan Banićević have yet to begin their preparations due to club commitments, while Luka Murišić, Uroš Vučurović, Đorđije Stanojević, Ilija Radović, and Lazar Andrić are included on the broader Olympic candidates list.
The water polo tournament at the Paris Olympic Games starts on June 28, with Montenegro competing in a group alongside Croatia, Italy, Greece, Romania, and the United States.
