Budva Set to Defend Its Title Again Tomorrow
The concluding series of the EPCG Super League play-offs for volleyball players is set to take place on Monday, April 21st. The third match between Budva and Budućnost Volley will be conducted at the Mediterranean Sports Center in Budva at 18:00.
Coach Miljan Bošković’s squad currently leads the series 2:0, positioning them just one victory away from securing their seventh consecutive Montenegrin championship title. After a decisive 3:0 win in the first home match, Budva also prevailed in Podgorica, where the game proved to be much more competitive but ultimately ended with a 3:1 win for the visitors.
On Monday, Budva’s corrector, Miro Miljanić, along with his teammates, will have their first match point to conclude this series in their home championship.
“Following a solid performance and a hard-fought victory against Budućnost in an away match, we now look forward to the third game in front of our home fans. We will aim to replicate our previous performances, and with another victory, we hope to claim the championship title on our own court, successfully wrapping up the season,” stated Budva’s corrector, Miro Miljanić.
Conversely, Luka Lojić and the blue-and-white team will strive to win the fourth match to remain in contention for the title.
“We weren’t playing at our usual level during the first two matches, and we’re fully aware of that. However, the series is not finished yet; we have another opportunity to come back and demonstrate our resilience. We believe in each other and are prepared to fight until the end. As long as there is a chance, we will not surrender!”
If Budućnost manages to extend the series, the fourth game would be scheduled for Wednesday, April 30th at 19:00 in Podgorica.
