Partizan advanced to the quarterfinals of the Serbian Cup after a convincing 3:0 victory over Radnik in Surdulica.
The black and whites opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal from Milan Vukotić, who found the net with a powerful shot from just outside the penalty area, catching the Radnik goalkeeper off guard.
This match marked the national team player’s first goal while wearing a Partizan jersey, following three assists in his prior seven official appearances.
Just eight minutes later, Partizan extended their lead to two goals, courtesy of Stefan Kovač. The goal came after a controversial moment in which Partizan’s Ibrahim Zubairu fell in the penalty area, and despite Radnik players rushing to assist him, the black and whites continued their play unhindered.
Following the goal, there was a brief exchange of words among the players, but the match resumed swiftly. Zubairu capped off a remarkable play in the 59th minute to seal the final score at 3:0.
TSC, Vojvodina, Napredak, IMT, and Novi Pazar have also secured their spots in the quarterfinals of the Serbian Cup.
