Siniša Kovačević, the vice president of the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro, has stepped down from his role.

Kovačević also serves as the president of Primorje.

In his resignation statement, shared on PVK Primorac’s Instagram, Kovačević expressed, “I resigned from the position of vice-president of the VPSCG due to dissatisfaction with the way the Alliance operates and the relationships within it. I wish the senior national team success at the upcoming Olympic Games, as well as success for the younger national teams in their upcoming competitive commitments.”

This season, Primorac clinched the champion title of Montenegro for the first time in 16 years.
