Once again, two Montenegrin handball stars, the Vujović brothers, Miloš and Branko, demonstrated their elite talent during the weekend in the world’s top league.

The players from Cetinje and Nikšić showcased their skills in the 27th round of the Bundesliga.

Miloš made a significant impact by scoring ten goals (including four successful penalty shots) for Gummersbach, although his team fell short against Erlangen, ending the match at 34:31.

The left winger from Montenegro currently ranks 16th among the league’s top scorers with a total of 121 goals.

In contrast, Branko managed to net seven goals for Hannover in their fierce derby against Flensburg, yet even the “warriors” were unable to secure a victory in a challenging away match, losing 31:28.

Branko Vujović, who is set to join Dinamo Bucharest at the season’s close under the guidance of the legendary Ćavi Paskval, has scored 24 goals in 54 matches this season.

The right back, representing the “lions,” excelled last night in the round of 16 of the European League, contributing four goals; however, Hannover could not manage to defeat the Swedish team Savehov, resulting in their departure from Europe.

Teams featuring players Nebojša Simić and Stefan Čavor also faced challenges this round – Hamburg triumphed over Melzungen with a score of 29:22, with our goalkeeper achieving eight saves, while Čavor found the net four times in Veclar’s loss to Fuhsa Berlin (32:30).
