Women’s Football Team Secures Draw Against Estonia
The Montenegrin U17 women’s national football team played to a stalemate against Estonia in Belfast, ending the match with a score of 1:1 in the second round of the European Championship qualifying tournament.
This marks the first draw for the Montenegrin women’s football team in Group B1, following their opening victory against Northern Ireland, where they secured a 2:1 win.
Under the guidance of Mirko Marić, the team took an early lead in the 12th minute with a goal from Elena Damjanović, but the match concluded with a goal from Gretlin Pilak in the 51st minute.
Montenegro is set to face Kazakhstan in the third round on March 23.
