Ognjen Jokić, a promising young basketball player from Bijelo Polje, scored an impressive 52 points for his club, contributing significantly to the 85 total points during the local derby against Jedinstvo 1.

Despite Jokić’s stellar performance, his team suffered a defeat in the Northern Region Junior League, finishing the match at 106:85.

“I’m pleased with the way I played and my 52 points, but I would have felt much better if we had won. Nonetheless, it certainly boosts my confidence,” Jokić remarked.

The 17-year-old plays as a fullback and had the chance to debut for the senior team of Jedinstvo last season.

“I scored my first points in the senior league, and I’ll work hard to earn another opportunity to play with the first team,” Jokić expressed determinedly.

This talented young player credited coaches Goran Rika Vojinović and Velibor Pirto Korać as pivotal to his basketball development.
