The Budućnost Voli basketball team is set to compete against Spartak in Subotica for the 24th round of the Admiralbet ABA League tomorrow.

This match presents an opportunity for the Podgorica squad to avenge their earlier defeat at Morača Hall, where they lost 78:75.

Under the leadership of Coach Andrej Žakelj, the team has achieved 20 victories this season and is currently tied for the top spot in the league standings.

Spartak, on the other hand, holds a record of 12 wins and 11 losses.

Regarding their opponent, Žakelj remarked that Spartak is built for playoff contention and is currently positioned to do so.

“They are a formidable team, having played well in our previous encounter, earning their victory. We find ourselves in a stronger place now compared to then, and it’s crucial to focus on certain aspects of their gameplay. They boast two strong players in each position, demonstrate solid teamwork, and are given time to practice and prepare for each match,” said Žakelj.

He emphasized his awareness of Spartak’s offensive strategies. “We must respond with concentration and enthusiasm; that will be our key focus,” he added.

The game at Dudova Šuma sports hall is scheduled to begin at 19:00.
